Hope that there’s one in the future which would be easier for people in UTC+12 timezones and similar to make (this event is 1am-3am for my local time). Nonetheless, I’m sure the attendees will get a lot out of this session :)
RE: Being entrepreneurial VS playing it safe
I wonder if some group organisers err on the side of the status quo because the more experimental you get, the more risk of doing accidental harm or being ineffective in your advocacy? Especially when the alternative to being experimental is to simply do the same thing as every other group, which tends to be a safe bet.
I’d be keen to hear thoughts on encouraging more entrepreneurial pursuits within community building while managing potential risk.
