Hi! My name’s Denise van Wissen, and I work in food systems transformation and climate resilience. A nutritionist by profession, I’m originally from Canada, but I’ve been based in Central America for many years, and did my Master’s in Guatemala (in food systems).

I’ve become interested in EA over the past months and have dived in heads-first! I’m taking the Intro EA and AI Safety courses, and it’s been amazing to meet fantastic facilitators and so many interesting people, who like me, want to make a difference!
