My theoretical studies at Chalmers University of Technology exposed an, in my view, neglected yet very significant gap in the knowledge of how to change the world and the knowledge of how to steer that change. Despite a rapidly increasing human influence on our environments the consequences seem to be largely unforeseen. I like writing about the mismatch between our intuitive morality and the consequence of an increasingly complex and modern world.

For my employment I spend my days in Lausanne, Switzerland, studying diffuse radio emission from galaxy clusters using machine learning. Astronomy is a life-long interest of mine, and understanding and teaching are my most important pleasure points for work. I also like nature and physical activity which is why the mountainous terrain of Switzerland gives me ample opportunity to balance work with adventures on the weekends.
