As an aspiring economist with a passion for data science, I am committed to using data-driven insights to address local and global challenges and promote sustainable development. Recently, I graduated from Kathmandu University with a B.A. in Economics and have completed three or more internships in leadership, academic research, and community building. Currently, I am an Operations Manager at EA Kathmandu University. I also have experience working with think tanks, such as the Institute for Integrated Development Studies-1979, the oldest think tank in South Asia, where I collaborated with teams to design and implement programs aimed at performing local priority research and promoting policy advocacy.
Happy to chat about economic policies in LMICs, meta ethics, movement building, and many other things.
Happy to be connected and involved!
Well-written, Luis!
Think globally, adapt locally! Effective altruism is all about making a positive impact in the world, and contextualization research is like the salt and pepper that add flavor and make your altruistic endeavors truly delicious! Community builders and EAs from LMICs would definitely love this!
