You’re right in that this post is about nonviolent protest being effective rather than not being effective, with no discussion on how violent protest fits into this. I’ve changed the title to “A case for the effectiveness of protest” but not sure if it’s too late but hopefully at least it’s a bit clearer. Thank you for the heads up!
