An AMA from someone who works at a really big foundation that leans EA but isnât quite âEA-alignedâ in the same way as Open Philanthropy (e.g. Gates, Rockefeller, Chan/âZuckerberg, Skoll).
Iâm interested to hear how those organizations compare different causes, distribute resources between areas/âdivisions, evaluate the impact of their grantmaking, etc.
Similarly, an AMA from someone working at an EA org who otherwise isnât personally very engaged with EA. Maybe they really disagree with EA, or more likely, theyâre new to EA ideas and havenât identified with EA in the past.
Theyâll be deeply engaged on the substantive issues but will bring different identities and biases, maybe offering important new perspectives.
