Hi Blake, This strikes me as a wonderful idea! Do you have any particular or specific things that you think the event could offer EA groups or projects that others might be interested in hearing? Also, is there a particular philosophical motive behind an event in this locale with so many philanthropists that are typically apathetic towards EA-related causes? I get the sense that a lot of EAs mostly want to focus on philanthropists that are already sympathtic to our causes (i.e. global development, futurism, animal welfare), but you specifically want to engage a different group. Why do you believe that’s a good idea?
