The New England Cottontail-related controlled fires

This post is made to save time for people worried about the outcome of the controlled fires done in order to keep the New England Cottontail population alive in the northeastern part of the US. It seems most likely to have a net positive effect, and it would be more worthwhile to investigate other wildfires.
