This is a linkpost for “Let’s be smart about climate change” , a podcast I did last week with Rejell on the Founders Pledge Climate Fund, predictable brokenness in our collective climate response, climate philanthropy, advocacy, why climate depression seems unwarranted, why both people certain of climate doom and people claiming no significant effects (e.g. Lomborg) seem overconfident, how lifestyle changes compare to other forms of individual action, and similar issues. Compared to my conversation with David Roberts earlier in the year it is more casual and less technical, so I hope it is a useful complement and a good introduction to climate from an effective-altruist lens for less technical audiences.
