You may have considered this already, but I’d recommend applying to speak with 80,000 Hours. They’re a great starting point for finding others to talk to, and they accept a lot of applications (“roughly 40% of people who apply”, and I’d guess that many of their rejections are because the applicant has never heard of EA and doesn’t really “get” what 80K is about).
