Juliana, thank you for sharing this example! I’m curious whether this kind of “too rigid and rule-bound” feedback tended to come up around a particular type of role, or whether it felt more like a general ‘not a fit for AI safety’ perception regardless of the position?
I’ve heard it from multiple people during general conversations about pivoting to AI safety, as well as with regard to specific projects. Those discussions were never about specific positions or types of positions.
