Since EA Funds are heavily recommended by many introductory EA sources, it seems to me that payout reports are too important to put in the “Community” category. For a typical donor following mainstream EA advice, EA Fund payouts are directly relevant, not just in a meta-level community sense.
Are there reasons I’m missing, or a stronger straightforward case than I see for this decision?
On second thought, you’re probably right about the categorization scheme. Some Funds-related posts are more clearly “community” (e.g. a notice that a new fund manager has joined), but in theory, even someone new to EA can learn from Funds reports. I’ll make sure to Frontpage those in future.
