In this EA Global: San Francisco 2015 talk, Ryan Phelan discusses her work with the Long Now Foundation on the Revive and Restore project to enhance and protect biodiversity through genetic rescue. One possibility she considers is reversing the extinction of megafauna, such as the wooly mammoth, to mitigate the negative effects of global climate change.
