EA and thinkers should be aiming at a very high tier. I think this tier should be aimed at, for example, by a high quality writer contest (which cites Gwern).
Writers and EA may not get second chances in these exclusive and opinionated spaces. I think that for writers or thinkers aiming to be influential in the ways EAs think are important, acts like this one, or cloudy aesthetics with the truth, could be enough to exclude them.
