Anti-mosquito bednets have an additional advantage (over malaria vaccines) in being able to prevent mosquito-borne diseases other than malaria, though I don’t know how big a deal this is in practice (eg, I don’t know how often the same area will have yellow fever and malaria).
There’s only one approved malaria vaccine, and it’s not very good (requires 4 shots, and ~36% reduction in number of cases).
