Since childhood, I’ve been interested in richer people’s obligations to poorer people. I took the Giving What We Can pledge in 2012. I’m thrilled that the EA movement is a thing, both because I’m no longer the only person I know talking about this stuff, and because other people have helped me think more clearly about it.
