This seems broadly in line with previous EA Survey results on the main barriers to involvement in EA.

Too few job opportunities /​ too hard to get an EA job, no close EA friends, and clear how to contribute were among the most commonly mentioned barriers. Lack of a local group and mentorship were also commonly mentioned.
