1. An equivalent of pingbacks on wiki entries for when other entries link to them
2. Pingbacks for when a wiki entry links to a post
On 1: I recently made an entry on the APPG on Future Generations. In Related entries, I included the entry on Institutions for future generations. That latter entry is the larger thing of which APPG on Future Generations is just one example, so it doesn’t necessarily seem worth adding APPG on Future Generations to the Related entries section of the Institutions for future generations entry, but it’d still be nice if people on that entry could see a list of the other entries that link to it.
This also helps in cases where a person just doesn’t think to or don’t have time to add to Related entries in both directions even when doing so would be good.
On 2: And it might also be interesting to see pingbacks on regular posts to indicate whether any entries have linked to them (as distinct from the post being tagged). In theory, that’d indicate to reader that that entry is especially relevant to this post and that this post is an especially important or clear discussion of that entry’s topic.

E.g., A proposed adjustment to the astronomical waste argument is linked to from the entries Trajectory changes and Speeding up development, and it’s indeed a relatively “canonical” source in relation to those two topics.
(I’m not 100% confident that these suggestions are good ideas, and they’re probably low priority anyway, especially the second idea.)
