Good point. Could schlep blindness be ‘rational’ in that it actually is unwise to pursue many projects that a person will most likely not be able to maintain motivation for over the course of the project?
I think this has more to do with personality styles than anything else, as “foxes” tend to thrive on many different projects, and “hedgehogs” tend to thrive in focusing on one big single project. More on these terms here.
