For my part, I’m pleased to see AMF back on the list. As I explained in my contribution to the “Where I’m giving and why” series, I’ve long favoured it for a combination of particularly robust evidence and higher estimated cost-effectiveness than deworming. So I’ll likely be giving to it this year, although I may get an opportunity to leverage more donations through providing matching or seed money for Charity Science fundraising for another charity, in which case I’ll do that.
However AMF’s room for more funding situation, as described in the GiveWell announcement, does sound complicated and potentially changeable.
