Part 1 -- creating user-facing prototype for Quinn’s Cost-effectiveness-analysis × Montecarlo comparison platform
Part 2 -- bringing in statistics/quant/domain people to test it and do independent evaluations of the same thing (in teams or individually) to compare and test both the platform and the reliability of these Montecarlo BOTEC Fermis
Potential bring in Givewell people and others too. I suggest doing one that is Global-health related and one that is Longtermist.
See some note-taking on this here (If you want access to the Gitbook to add your own content let me know)
If EA were to conduct a hackathon in conjunction with a future EAG (or EAGx), what are some projects that you would like to see software engineers working on during this event?
I made a simple site for creating eCards after donating to effective charities to make it easier to give donations as gifts.
The current version of the site is located here: https://main.d33ee03vlquk8r.amplifyapp.com/
The repo is public and located here: https://github.com/TLYCS/Card_Generator
In the hackathon we could request new features or general improvements to make the site better for the end user.
The goal of the site is to be a completely free eCard generator to incentivize people to donate to effective charities as gifts.
