Sorry you had that experience! I upvoted âfinding voiceâ because I thought it was interesting as a short fiction piece. One thing to note is that karma isnât a fully considered âvalue of your writingâ score. I fairly often downvote something on the Forum that I would enjoy reading elsewhere. Posts on the Forum frontpage should be relevant to the project of effective altruism, and high karma posts are highly relevant and good. Reading your other posts, Iâd guess that the downvotes/â lack of upvotes is more to do with relevance than quality. Though writing by LLMs is generally still poor quality (or technically good, but lacking in substance), so it might be a bit of that as well.

That someone should be so eager to knock something down that hadnât even âstood upâ, and clearly wasnât about to rise up to levels many were likely to have ever seen it anyway, just felt somehow⊠personal, I guess. Which is ridiculous since I donât know anyone here. Suppose maybe I donât want to either, though you seem alright.
