There’s no built-in feature but you can email us or link to google docs; as a practical matter I think it’s much more common that applications are updated by having different funding needs or the applicants decided to pursue different projects (whether their new project needs or doesn’t need funding) than because the applicant now looks significantly stronger.
You can also reapply after being rejected if your application is now substantially more competitive.
I’m hoping that LTFF will work towards being much more efficient going forwards, so it becomes less practically useful for applicants to feel a need to update their applications mid-evaluation. But this is aspirational; in the meantime I can totally see value in doing this.
Can applicants update their application after submitting?
This was an extremely useful feature of Lightspeed Grants, because the strength of my application significantly improved every couple of weeks.
If it’s not a built-in feature, can applicants link to a google doc?
Thank you answering our questions!
