I havenāt read the post, but I do think ideas in this rough vicinity are worth someone spending a fair bit of time thinking about and maybe piloting, and I wanted to quickly mention a few other things that might be of interest to you or to readers:
I know of a few people who might be good fits for discussing, advising on, co-founding, writing for, etc. this sort of newspaper project, so if someone is seriously interested in this please get in touch and I can connect you
These are either people who are independently interested in similar things or just people who I think would be good for that sort of thing
As I often do, Iāll link to List of EA funding opportunities and mention thatāI strongly encourage people to consider applying for one or more of these [funding opportunities]. Given how quick applying often is and how impactful funded projects often are, applying is often worthwhile in expectation even if your odds of getting funding arenāt very high. (I think the same basic logic applies to job applications.)ā
Note that people can apply for funding to pay for time spent just exploring and planning possible project ideas
Also note that Iām not implying I think precisely the idea in this post should be funded or that a given person who applies for funding to explore related ideas should be funded. Instead Iām just saying it could easily be worthwhile in expectation to apply.

I guess maybe āNew things kind-of like Our World in Dataā is a bit relevant
