[Question] I read Johannes Ackva’s post on climate change which mentions three areas that can create global leverage. Is there a (possibly career-oriented) site that provides a higher level of detail and comparison between issues within climate, in a similar way that 80,000 Hours does for global existential problems?
Have you read the full Founders Pledge reports on this topic? I’m not sure exactly which post you’re referring to, but the full report documents go into a lot more detail.
“This guide is about what we believe the implications of this changing landscape to be for donors that are motivated by maximizing positive climate impact.” Interesting, but ideally it’d be something framed for people looking to work in climate rather than those with money looking to donate.
Thanks, I hadn’t seen the second link. Would be interesting to see a bit more of a quantitive analysis of the different options, but maybe that’s something someone needs to build.

The 80000 Hours problem profile also has some career advice
I’m not sure if either of these were mentioned in Johannes’ post, but:
https://drawdown.org/ (explores and compares different solutions for climate change)
or
https://www.effectiveenvironmentalism.org/careers-advice (EA-informed advice for climate change careers)
