One of my friends who is an artist is running this contest as a way to reduce the adoption of code gen systems in writing safety-critical code which includes the code of prepotent / AGI-like / GPAI (General Purpose AI) models. Participating in this contest helps establish distrust of these existentially dangerous code gen systems.
