One alarm bell is that this relatively new organisation tries (or claims to try) to work on a range of unconnected areas, including pandemic support, AI stuff and apparently biosecurity risk stuff? One of the biggest strengths of EA orgs, and most open Phil supported orgs is that they focus on doing one thing well.
Am looking forward to the response and like you, I hope that my initial perception of this organisation is wrong.
