I think RP can function well as an emergency response team, at least on the research side. For example, we did move five researchers into full time covid work in March 2020 and then kept just one researcher on it for another six months after we didn’t find tractable opportunities that were better than our normal work. But I think this shows how we can and will pivot as needed and this flex capacity seems really good to have. IMO this would be even easier for us to do now that we are so much larger than in early 2020.
Also, as far as I can tell Alvea also seems like great practice of rapidly building a team.
