I think some of this applies to 5-18 year old education too. Certainly there are flaws in the current education system that it would be better without, but it might just be tinkering around the edges. In that sense, is it a better use of people’s time than the counterfactual?
I know it’s just an analogy, but the analogy carries across. We wouldn’t want to be advertising people sink time into something which turns out to be ineffective. That would likely discredit EA among people who had seen that.
