One thing that organizations like Givewell could start doing is rating charities that are extremely transparent and are willing to e.g. publish all of the conversations they have with Givewell and make all their data publicly available higher. (This would be sensible because those charities are in fact more effective, since they are sharing their knowledge with other charities.)
