Potentially effective career highlighted by UK Public Spending Audit

I was reading the public spending audit released by the new chancellor and point 69 stood out to me:

Through the Spending Review process, the government will take forward work on a number of priority themes, including a greater focus on long-termism, investment in prevention, managing demand, and increasing devolution and local integration of services

Being able to influence UK government spending as well as further the ideas of long-termism seems like a potentially effective career choice and thought I would share.
