Yeah my transplant team really wanted to make sure I understood the pre-eclampsia risk. I think when I got to the phone call stage that was a big part of what we talked about. I’ve seen at least one person on r/kidneydonors who might have donated sooner but decided to delay until her kids were teens. She was in her 40s when she donated iirc.
