Would it make sense for EA to start a crowdfunding campaign to help rescue grants promised funds by FTX? I know nothing about the math or the potential legal issues, but my general thoughts are that this combines the urgency of donating to natural disaster relief with the potential impact of longterm interventions vetted by some of the smartest people in EA.
