I like the use of the “non-X” concept (which is new to me) to explore post-scarcity, a topic that has been talked about a lot within EA. Something like a universal basic income has a lot of popular support among members of this community, and there’s a lot of writing on “how good the world could be, if we do things right and don’t experience a catastrophe from which we can’t recover”.
