I prefer pfs’s as well! I would read it on my e-book reader. I agree with the pros and cons, and i’ll add the incompatibility between videos and paper/e-book readers, as i’ve understood, you include videos now and then in the handbook… But i’d still prefer to read the reading on something else than a pc/phone screen.
I might even have a reasonable chance of infecting my dad with EA, if i could send him this handbook as an e-book or pdf..!
Ah, but of course! I can imagine the satisfaction at realizing that EA is indeed very Yang, and how you could use this to convince not-very-EA-adjacent people to do effective giving. Of course much charity is highly Yin-driven and there is an imbalance in the net charity given across the world. Right! Of course! Congratulations on this victory 😁 ✨
I take this as a reminder of the “personal fitness” trait, which factors in when determining the tractibility of altruistic efforts on the level of an individual person.
I postulate that you were only likely to find this reframing, due to genuinely understanding and resonating with the Yin Yang -framework. It works so well as a talking point, because it honestly is a valid and significant reason to do effective giving from within that framework. Your post makes building this bridge look easy to me, which it might not be in general. But i think it might have been quite intuitive for you to do. I am interested in a correction on this perception, if i am wrong.
For some reason, this makes me feel more optimisitically about my own personal fitness in terms of my career planning.
