Can you explain Panel B in Table 1 to me?
It looks to me like the income of the Caregivers in the treatment group is lower than in the control group.
Start and end time are not readable for me when creating and editing events in dark mode.
Is that just me?

Usually classes (especially entry-level) are in German, which is a big hurdle. Universities can decide themselves to offer courses in English and set requirements for English and German levels (at the beginning or some point of the degree). Malengo researches the details (which might change year to year) for their own strategy and to support the students in finding a fitting degree.
University is relatively cheap (state-run universities are subsidized heavily), but foreign students don’t get any other support (Germans do) and have to prove a source of income/sufficient wealth for their visum.
I don’t know the mechanics for working visas and permanent residency, but I’d expect it to be relatively easy for someone who did their degree here.

That’s not what I asked: In percentage points, how likely do you think you are right (and people who value e.g. GHWB over Animal Welfare are wrong)?
IIRC studies show it’s easier to motivate people to give more than to shift existing donations.
How sure are you are right and the other EA (who has also likely thought carefully about their donations) is wrong, though?
I’m much more confident that I will increase the impact of someone’s donation / spending if they are not in EA, rather than being too convinced of my own opinion and causing harm (by negative side effects, opportunity costs or lowering the value of their donation).

Their definition of “self-replication” seems to be just to copy the model weights to another place and start it on an open port—no unexpected capability.

Is there also a version that uses kcal instead of tons and that breaks down animal products into meat and vegetarian?

I don’t know much about painkillers in LMICs, but in my understanding the US prescribes many more opioids than other western countries (like Germany, where I’m from). So this idea/problem might be specific to the US.
