My mission statement in a nutshell, is as follows:
“To be actively involved with an ethical and moral organization and community, championing the causes to further humanity and make the world a safer, cleaner and happier place for children forevermore.”
I am a Civil Engineer by training and having passed my Professional Engineering (PEng) designation in Vancouver, BC, Canada, (have my black belt in Taekwondo) and I mention this because I am honour bound (having sworn oaths) to serve society and believe this is a strong foundation to further humanity.
I am also a certified Professional Project Manager (PMP). I have worked on multi-billion dollar projects and managed multi-million dollar civil infrastructure and big tech projects simultaneously.
I invite you to review my work experience and recommendations on my Linkedin profile from previous clients, employers and colleagues.

Many points resonated — and I can see how others here could really benefit from them too. A great reminder that there’s no one‑size‑fits‑all; the “sweet spot” between burnout and playing it too small often needs tailoring. Your personal story and tools for calibrating ambition were wisely shared: setting goals that are both grounded in reality and big enough to stretch you over time.
Thanks for articulating it so well — the reminder that re‑setting and re‑evaluating is an ongoing process is valuable. Shifting the goalposts isn’t failure, it’s essential.
