The Algosphere Alliance is a global ethical network focused on reducing suffering for all sentient beings, with a strong emphasis on cross-cause cooperation, systems thinking, and long-term risk.
Rather than operating as a centralized organization, the Alliance functions as a distributed network of individuals and allied organizations working across domains such as:
- animal welfare and anti-speciesism
- food systems and plant-based transition
- global catastrophic and existential risks (including AI)
- culture, governance, and coordination problems
As part of a current revamp / restart phase, we’ve opened a private community space on Mighty Networks — designed as a low-noise, ad-free alternative to mainstream social platforms. The goal is to support:
- thoughtful discussion and sense-making
- connection between people working on different problem areas
- exploration of coordination and cooperation opportunities
- long-term, impact-oriented reflection beyond short-form social media
Within the network, we’re also developing Centers of Interest (e.g. Non-Human Animals, Artificial Intelligence, systemic risk) as shared spaces for deeper exploration and cooperation.
This is an experiment. Participation is optional, observation is welcome, and the value of the space will depend entirely on whether it proves useful to the people who join.
