Communities adjacent to effective altruism are groups related in one way or another to the effective altruism community. Possible examples of such communities include the rationality community, the forecasting community, and the progress studies community;[1] and, historically, the Philosophic Radicals, the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge, and Fabianism, among others.
