What are the Principles (guideline, moral spirit, social contract, or whatever the name is) for Effective Altruism?
I’m proposing a path towards Collaborative Society, which is inspired of Effective Altruism with my understanding.

CEA’s “guiding principles of effective altruism” were an attempt at this.
These principles seem like platitudes—stuff that people would always agree with and therefore don’t really need to be said.
I think people should figure out how to exercise EA in their local environment. For different individuals and different social contexts, there will be different ways to most effectively exercise EA. So I would not try to pin it down, beyond the basic ethical commitments and the attachments to open-mindedness, rigor and evidence.
