I love the consistency and quality of these surveys :)
A couple of questions regarding the “positive influence” survey:
If I counted correctly, the 2020 survey had an average of 3.13 votes per person (which is weird because the instructions were to pick up to 3 so maybe I’m making a mistake). If that’s the case, that could explain some of the drops from 2020. However, it could be that people simply choose to select less because they find less of these at top importance 🤷♂️
Is there no “negative influences” section? If so, why not?
This is probably largely explained by a difference between the questions in 2020 and 2022. In 2022, the question specified “within the last 12 months”, but the 2020 question was not time limited. I’ve updated the post to make this clearer.
This was just one of quite a large number of questions which got cut this year to reduce the length. We might add it back into future surveys, but we’d likely have to cut some other question(s) to make room for it.
