People can use jargon more often,[1] and not have to worry about it not landing with readers. And readers unaware of the jargon can hover over the word to see what it means, while readers who already do know can keep reading. Makes it easier to read for people within a wider range of inferential distance.

I forgot to mention, but there already seems to be an implementation of the hover-over thing for Arbital (try hovering).
