What are the best places to share one-off opportunities for impact?

Every once in awhile, I learn about one-off opportunities that might be helpful to have effective altruists involved in, e.g. chances to contribute to a project with a large impact. One such opportunity is below. I find myself unsure of the best place to share things like this: This forum seems like it is largely (though not exclusively) for more big-picture sorts of discussions, though perhaps things like this are welcome here. I see that there is a large effective altruism subreddit (where I initially posted the below), and a Facebook group, but not sure what the norms are around cross-posting. I also don’t know if there are other venues that would be more suitable to post something like this in. Any guidance would be appreciated.

=============

The Agency for Health Quality and Assessment of Catalonia is currently looking for experts to serve as paid reviewers to review research proposals in the WHO COVID-19 research priorities (these priorities are summed up in https://www.who.int/blueprint/priority-diseases/key-action/Coronavirus_Roadmap_V9.pdf?ua=1 p. 15-16). This is part of a one-off project to allocate funds raised by the popular Catalonian charity marathon La Marató de TV3, which has raised over 10 million euros for COVID-19 research this year. Note that the WHO COVID-19 priorities include ethical topics that members of the EA community with the requisite expertise might be particularly well-suited to advise on, such as “Ethical governance of global epidemic research”, “Articulate and translate existing ethical standards to salient issues in COVID-19″ and similar, see p. 56. They say: “Please note that this collaboration is rewarded and implies reviewing about 10-15 expressions of interest (5-6 pages) around February-March 2021. The exact number of proposals to review will depend on the number of submissions (call closes end of January) and its topics matching your expertise.”

I am not affiliated with any of the above organizations, but have been asked to let them know if I know of anyone suitable who might be interested in participating. If you have expertise and a publication history in any relevant areas—they will ask you to provide a list of up to 5 of your most relevant publications related to the WHO COVID-19 research priorities—and you would like me to pass your name along, then please DM me your name, the e-mail you would like me to provide them with, and list of relevant publications before the end of the year. Thanks!
