Do you have a link to that interaction? I canāt think of any case where mods deleted comments that didnāt contain personal information[1], but it might have happened before I started reading the forum.
I feel like spreading what I said originally is basically an attempt to reverse the original moderation decision, and I donāt want to be adversarial. Nor do I want to name the person who removed it and put them on the spot (especially as I donāt think it was an outrageous decision or anything, though I donāt really regret what I said either.)

edit: except when a user asks to delete their comments, but I think that should count as if the user was deleting the comments themselves
