Draft Amnesty Coworking Session #2

This event is one of two coworking events the Forum team is running the week before Draft Amnesty Week (March 11-17) to give people accountability to draft or polish posts.

We are holding the event in the EA Gather-Town co-working area[1]. If you haven’t used gather before, it is a platform for virtual venues. In gather, you make an avatar and walk around the map. You can hear and see people who are close to you. There are built-in features for setting synced pomodoro timers, and various social spaces for smaller, spontaneous conversations. Check it out any time on this link.

The event will be two hours long (but drop in whenever), and there will be opportunity for optional socialising as well as co-working on Draft Amnesty drafts. I (Toby AKA tobytrem, the Forum’s Content Manager) will be there for the two hours to give feedback on your Draft ideas, work with you in 25 min pomodoro sessions, or just for a chat. Feel free to visit the workspace any time, and continue to hang out after the event.

If you are considering joining, I’d love it if you:

  1. RSVP’d to the event.

  2. Added the event to your calendar so that you get a reminder (you can use the button next to my byline at the top for this).

Looking forward to seeing you there!

PS- if you’re interested in this event, you might also be interested by events hosted by EA anywhere—an online discussion space and a touchpoint for people without local EA groups nearby. If you want to get more involved, check out their events calendar, subscribe to their monthly newsletter, or join their Slack workspace.
