Have not downvoted this one, but I personally don’t like these “downvote me” comments. I feel like karma doesn’t matter that much and they add noise. If you think this is important, maybe you can make a single thread of comments in your shortforms to link to, and people can downvote there?
I didn’t downvote (I rarely engage in karma voting) but if I had to guess, I would say that having the entire content of the comment be “downvote me” misled people who didn’t understand the connection to your previous comment immediately (i.e. more confusion than some specific plan to go against your stated purpose).

I don’t like them either, but people don’t like it when I write lots of comments and get lots of karma
