Some considerations for clarification:
why say ‘considered low status’ instead of ‘considered wrong’ or ‘considered wrong by EA Leadership or whatever’.
I guess, given EA is somewhat decentralised in terms of claimed ownership, it’s hard to say what ‘the movement’ has acknowledged, but maybe substantial or significant minorities of the movement beginning to champion a new cause/​idea would meet the criteria?
