Amplify is a new marketing agency working in the effective altruism and AI safety space. We partner with mission-aligned organisations to help them reach the right people, with the right message, at the right time.
We’re now looking for volunteersto join us in our early stages and help scale our work. If you’re excited by the idea of improving coordination, increasing impact, and bringing more strategic rigour to marketing within EA and AIS, we’d love to hear from you.
Roles we’re looking to fill
We’re needing volunteers across several areas, including:
Marketing operations
Project Support
Content creation (writing, social media, visuals)
Data analysis and market research
Strategy and stakeholder engagement
Examples of tasks include:
Marketing Operations
Maintain and update content calendars
Coordinate internal task tracking
Monitor EA newsletters for key updates
Assist in maintaining libraries of past work and assets
Project Support
Help onboard new volunteers
Schedule and document meetings
Track task progress across projects
Organise briefs and deliverables for creative or content teams
Content Creation (Writing, Social, Visuals)
Turn newsletter or forum highlights into blog posts and email copy
Write plain-language summaries of AI safety research
Design social media content and visual explainers (e.g. infographics)
Draft audience-aligned social copy for existing content
Data Analysis & Market Research
Analyse campaign performance metrics
Conduct audience research and create persona profiles
Track partner and competitor content trends
Identify high-performing content from the EA ecosystem
Strategy & Stakeholder Engagement
Support planning for campaign launches
Identify strategic outreach opportunities
Draft comms for stakeholder or partner engagement
Contribute ideas for scaling impact based on insights
Once in the role, you will start with supportive, structured tasks in the first month – then grow into deeper strategic or creative responsibilities as trust and familiarity build.

Who we’re looking for
We’re especially keen to connect with:
People with experience in marketing, comms, data analysis, operations or digital outreach (but this isn’t a requirement)
Those with an understanding of or interest in effective altruism and AI safety
Organised, thoughtful collaborators who are excited by start-up energy and working with ambiguity
Time commitment:
Flexible work hours
Students and early career individuals are to commit a minimum of 6 hours per week (8 during the first month when being onboarded).
If you’re a mid to experienced career professional, then we expect you to commit to a minimum of 4 hours per week schedule (6 during the first month when being onboarded).
