Bayes’ Theorem explained
Bayes’ Theorem is often discussed in rationality and E.A. circles. For many beginning E.A.s, I imagine that spending 15 minutes to better understand this could be incredibly valuable for folks who want to engage more deeply with the community. One of my favorite YouTube channels is 3Blue1Brown, which creates accessible and entertaining videos on important concepts in math and computer science, including Baye’s Theorem.
Anyhow, here’s the link to the video: Baye’s Theorem: The Geometry of Changing Beliefs. Check it out!
Thanks for sharing this! I agree that learning about Bayes’ Theorem is important for EAs, and really anyone in the world. Small typo: it is Bayes’ Theorem, not Baye’s Theorem, as it’s named after Thomas Bayes.
