  Thanks for pointing that out! You (and your Claude) are correct, there are some people who have experience in fieldbuilding somewhere in the world. However, this is a very niche background, and people who have it are very difficult to find. If you’re looking for a person with this type of background for your organisation, there are no obvious groups that you could reach out to as a potential employer; as far as I know, there are no communities that bring together fieldbuilders from different fields (as compared to communities of IT specialists working in different fields, or scientists from different sciences); you can’t even easily headhunt them via LinkedIn, because the official names of their positions probably do not include the world “fieldbuilding”. What I meant in the specific sentence you refer to is that there are close to no pools, and not close to no fieldbuilders. Happy to discuss further if you have follow-up questions!

  In the current cycle (January-June 2026), there are only two fellows in the fieldbuilding track. For the next cycle (September 2026 - February 2027), there will be no fieldbuilding track at all. Instead, there will be a separate program called Generator Residency, which is organised by Constellation and Kairos.
